Identification of Slip Area in Makale Selatan District Using the Geoelectric Method

Landslides are most common in steep areas with heavy rainfall. Aside from rainfall, there numerous other factors that contribute to landslides. The presence of slip fields the subsurface layer is one primary causative factors. South Makale sub-districts Tana Toraja Regency located mountains, where landslides frequently occur, claiming lives. purpose this study was determine area potential three sub-districts, which Sandabilik, Tiromanda, and Randan batu villages. geoelectric method Wenner-Sclumberger configuration type used. measurement data form rock resistivity values, then interpreted based on type. findings revealed Sandabilik Batu villages were landslide risk areas.
